FITCOTUBE® Thin-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing

Applications:
Electrical insulation, mechanical strain relief of contacts and connections. Abrasion protection for water and hydraulic hoses as well as corrosion protection for metal pipes. Identification and color-coding purposes.

Properties:
Outstanding mechanical, chemical and electrical properties. Flame resistant or self-extinguishing (not applicable for clear Polyolefin tubing).

Temperature Range: – 75°C to + 260°C
Shrink Temperature: Starting from 85°C
Shrink Ratio: 1.2:1 to 4:1
Materials: Modified cross-linked Polyolefin, Fluor plastics as well as cross-linked Elastomers

FITCOTUBE® Dual-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing

Applications:
Sealing and encapsulation of electrical and mechanical components. Protection of splices in harnesses. Protection against humidity, for electrical insulation or mechanical strain relief of contacts and wire connections. Abrasion and corrosion protection for water, fuel and hydraulic hoses.

Properties:
Excellent adhesion on metallic surfaces and on many plastics (different grades of hot-melt adhesives). Outstanding mechanical and chemical resistance.

Temperature Range: – 55°C up to 135°C
Shrink Temperature: Starting at 125°C
Shrink Ratio: 2:1 to 4:1
Materials: Modified cross-linked Polyolefin with an inner lining of hot-melt adhesive based on Polyethylene and Polyamide

Heat-Shrinkable Molded Parts

Applications:
Molded parts are primarily used in highly demanding operating conditions (e.g. Turbo-prop and jet engine compartments). Permanent, reliable immersion and dirt proof connections of cable jacket and connector housing with mechanical strain relief. Environmentally sealed protection of wire harness branches. End seal for wires or cables joined together with parallel splices. End seal and protection for metal tube ends (e.g. antenna caps).

Properties:
Outstanding mechanical, chemical and electrical resistance. Flame resistant and self-extinguishing. Outstanding mechanical, chemical and electrical resistance. Flame resistant and self-extinguishing.

Temperature Range: – 75°C up to + 200°C
Shrink Temperature: Starting from 120°C
Shrink Ratio: Up to 6:1
Materials: Modified, cross-linked Polyolefin as well as Elastomers – also available with adhesive coating

Solder Sleeves

Applications:
High quality, reliable electrical connection of two or more wires as well as shield terminations. Easily reproducible application, soldering, insulation and sealing in one process of professional standard.

Properties:
Outstanding mechanical, chemical and electrical resistance. Flame resistant and self-extinguishing.

Temperature Range: – 55°C up to + 200°C
Shrink Temperature: Starting from 160°C
Materials: Cadmium free, eutectic solder rings with integrated flux in heat-shrink sleeves made from PVDF. Partially also supplied with meltable PE sealing rings.
Can also be manufactured with a pre-installed lead wire according to MIL specifications.

FITCO®Seal Crimp Splices

Applications:
High quality, reliable electrical connection of two or more stranded wires. Heat shrink technology provides protection of the splice against environmental and mechanical stress.

Properties:
Outstanding mechanical, chemical and electrical resistance. Flame resistant and self-extinguishing.

Temperature Range: – 55°C up to + 175°C
Materials: Tin, silver or nickel-plated electrolyte copper sleeve. Separate PVDF heat-shrink sleeve with integrated thermal-plastic sealing rings. Different sizes are color-coded.

Identification Sleeves

Applications:
Various print methods offer a wide variety of applications for heat shrink tubing to identify wires, cables pipes and tubes. Hot stamp, thermal-transfer as well as matrix print processes provide the most economical solution for all identification needs.

Outstanding mechanical, chemical and electrical resistance. Flame resistant and self-extinguishing.

Temperature Range: – 55°C up to + 135°C
Shrink Temperature: Start from 90°C
Shrink Ratio: 3:1 and 2:1
